I'm Back and its Time to Blog again!!

OK...OK...yes, I am alive and yes, its time to get my life/business organized and back to normalcy! I was reading my client/friends blog (its funny -- you should read it!): http://secondtimemommy.blogspot.com/ and on the right side, she has her favorite blogs listed -- and the date of update. I couldn't believe that it said, I hadn't update my blog in 4 weeks!! So time to blog...and time to blog consistently again!

So what have I been doing in the last 4 weeks...well, we moved to a new (awesome home!!), went on a vacation to Hawaii AND I've photographed 3 weddings!! YIKES...busy to say the least. I have realized I am NOT A GOOD mover! So if you ever hear me talking about wanting to possibly move again...please start kicking me in the toushie...because mark my words -- I will NOT move again!!

As many of you know...my new home contains a studio and office space -- I am just loving it! Still working on organizing / decorating the spaces...but I LOVE it! I'll post photos soon when everything is done.

Boy did we ever need a vacation -- 2 days after we moved in to the new place...The entire fam went to Waikiki Beach on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii. Everyone had a fabulous time...so here's some pictures to show for it.

Check back often for consistent blog posts.

Not sure why this one looks like the footprints are 'raised'...because all we did was press our feet into the sand (can anyone tell me??)

Maddie, Kate and Jake arriving at our hotel...what a view from our room!

Pearl Harbor. Take a look at that rainbow! Mark's grandfather was a Pearl Harbor Survivor and passed away last fall...I like to think that the rainbow was his way of saying Aloha!

Pineapple at the Dole Plantation...was I the only one that didn't realize that pineapples grew from a plant in the ground?!?

This picture is my proof that God exists...and that he was looking out for us. This is our Jake taking a head-dive flip off a tube (I just so happened to be photographing him riding the waves)...I am so thankful that he popped up out of the sand and water...a little shaken -- but just fine!

Funny, I was looking at that date the other day and marveling at how long it has been since you blogged ;) You have been busy - you are forgiven!!! Glad you are getting settled in. It takes time!!!

So glad to have you back! I also didn't know the pineapple thing until we went to Hawaii. It's neat to see how they grow.
Love the new pics. Great work!
